I came across this infographic some time ago and I thought I’d share it with everyone. As a graduate student (and as a nerd in general), I really appreciated it.

We all know His Airness, Michael Jordan, has more money than he can count but someone else actually has more cash. A lot more:

However, I’d like to point out that for all the money Bill Gates has, his charitable work is really admirable. It’s probably easier to be benevolent when you’re worth billions but it seems to me that Bill and Melinda Gates take their roles as philanthropists very seriously and look at giving back to the world as their responsibility, not charity.
